About ASAA

The Alaska School Activities Association (ASAA) roots predate statehood. Today ASAA has 219 member schools and sanctions 29 educational based activities. With up to 4 divisions in some activities, ASAA hosts 52 championship events each year. ASAA will also host two statewide music festivals and two student government conferences each year. Additionally, ASAA coordinates World Language and Art competitions. The mission of the ASAA is to strengthen student wellness, academic and social development by advocating equitable participation and fostering healthy competition for ALL Alaska students. #winforlife
